Pensions Advice in Surrey
Pensions are often not understood and seen as too complex to even think about. When we initially speak to our clients we often find they have no idea what they have where when it comes to pensions. We understand the complexities and can guide you through the vast array of options available.
Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs) have had a lot of press in recent years. As a result they have increased in popularity and demand has soared. They do have some advantages over other pension types, but they are not suitable for everyone. It is not a case of “one hat fits all” just because they have been in the limelight. We tend to use them for our clients where investment and retirement flexibility are key areas for concern. A lot of SIPPs do not resolve these concerns and are attempts by large companies to retain client money. We have access to a totally bespoke and low cost options from a specialist provider, if SIPP’s are the right path.
For those just starting out in the accumulation of wealth, more low cost options such as Stakeholder Pensions may be more appropriate. Indeed, there is a pension plan for everyone. We aim to de-mystify pensions for our clients so they can see the pros and cons before making an informed choice.
